Delete your account
Effective date: 17 September 2026
You can delete your sabCheej account — and the personal data that goes with it — at any time. This page explains the two ways to do it and exactly what happens to your data. sabCheej is operated by Trackbes Technology.
1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)
Open the sabCheej app and go to Profile → Delete account. Confirm once, and the account is deleted immediately. You are logged out on every device and the same mobile number can sign up again later as a brand-new account.
Store partners and delivery partners cannot self-delete from the app, because their accounts are tied to payouts and live orders. Ask by email (section 2) and we close the account once nothing is pending.
2. Delete without the app
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot log in, email sabcheej@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or include your registered mobile number in the message. Use the subject “Delete my sabCheej account”. We verify that the request comes from the account holder, delete the account within 7 working days, and confirm by reply.
3. What is deleted
- Your name, email address and mobile number.
- Saved delivery addresses and their map pins.
- Your cart and saved payment preferences.
- Uploaded prescription images.
- Push-notification tokens for your devices.
- Support messages and in-app feedback you sent are anonymised — the text stays for our records, your identity is removed from it.
- Reward points and referral balances cannot be recovered afterwards.
4. What is kept, and for how long
Some records must survive account deletion because Indian tax and consumer-protection law requires it, or because they belong to other people too:
- Order and payment records — invoices, bills, payment and refund entries — are kept for the period Indian tax law requires (up to 8 years). The account they belonged to is anonymised (name, phone and email removed), so they are no longer linked to a live person.
- Store ratings and reviews you left stay visible to other customers, without your name.
- Fraud and safety records — for example a blocked-number entry — may be kept where necessary to prevent abuse.
5. Deleting some data but keeping the account
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove data. In the app you can delete individual saved addresses, clear your cart, turn off notifications, and edit your name and email from Profile. Location and notification permissions are controlled in your phone’s settings.
