Terms of Use
Effective date: 20 August 2026
These terms apply to your use of the sabCheej app and website. Put plainly: we connect you to the shops in your neighbourhood and deliver what you order — the shop is the one selling the goods, and every side’s responsibility in that arrangement is written down here. If you have a question, write to sabcheej@gmail.com.
1. Who this agreement is between
When you use the sabCheej app or website (sabcheej.com), these terms become the agreement between you and sabCheej. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
This website hands out the Android app and runs the store-partner and delivery-partner enquiry forms; ordering happens inside the app. The app is distributed as an APK from this site and not through the Play Store, and which shops are available depends on your area.
2. Account and eligibility
- You must be over 18 and in India.
- Login works with your phone number and an OTP. Keeping that number and OTP safe is your responsibility — any order placed from that account is treated as yours.
- You do not need an account to browse. Login is required when you place an order, because delivery is not possible without a number and an address.
- The same phone number can hold a customer, store partner or delivery partner role; you see different screens depending on the role, and partners are covered by a separate agreement.
3. The role of sabCheej
sabCheej is a marketplace and delivery platform. The goods and food are sold by the shops and restaurants — quality, quantity, packaging, expiry and (for food) preparation are their responsibility. We show the listings, pass on the order and arrange the delivery.
If something goes wrong — an item missing, spoilt or simply the wrong one — contact support. We work with the shop to put it right: replacement, cancellation or refund, whichever fits the case.
4. Orders, availability and pricing
- Which shops and which items you see depends on your location and on that shop’s delivery area.
- Prices are set by the shop and can change. You are shown the full bill before you place the order — item total, delivery, taxes and discount, each on its own line. The bill you see and confirm is the bill you are charged.
- Sometimes an item is out of stock or the shop closes — in that case the order or that line can be cancelled and the money refunded. We do not substitute items without your consent.
- Coupons and offers carry their own conditions (minimum order, validity, maximum discount), and those are shown in the app when you apply them.
5. Payment and refunds
- You can pay online (UPI or card, through a payment gateway) or by cash on delivery — both work.
- Refunds go back the same way the payment came in. Banks and gateways can take time; that part is not in our hands.
- For a COD order, the cash is handed to the rider at delivery. Rudeness, arguments or coercion towards a rider can get an account closed.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel from the app before the order is accepted. Once the shop has started preparing, or the food is already made, a cancellation charge may apply — how much will be stated clearly on screen before you confirm the cancellation. We are not printing a figure here, because it depends on the case and the category, and it is never applied without telling you.
7. Pharmacy orders
- Prescription (Rx) medicines require a valid prescription to be uploaded. A pharmacist verifies it and may reject the order.
- sabCheej does not give medical advice. Choosing a medicine and its dosage is your doctor’s or pharmacist’s job.
- The rules on selling medicines apply to the pharmacy, and the pharmacy is responsible for following them.
8. Restaurant and food orders
Food is cooked and packed by the restaurant. Information on ingredients, allergens and veg/non-veg comes from the restaurant; if you have an allergy, confirm with the restaurant before ordering. How long the food takes to prepare depends on the restaurant.
9. Delivery and the delivery OTP
- Someone should be present at the address at delivery time. You can add instructions such as gate, floor or a landmark.
- At handover the rider will ask you for the delivery OTP. Share it only when you actually receive the order — an order marked “delivered” before that works against you.
- You see the rider’s live location only during an active delivery, and tracking stops once the order is complete.
- Repeatedly refusing deliveries, giving a wrong address or turning away COD orders can get an account restricted.
10. Your responsibilities
- Use the service for yourself and within the law — no fake orders, no fake accounts, no using someone else’s number, no gaming coupons.
- Treat riders and shopkeepers with respect. Abuse, threats or harassment can get an account closed immediately.
- Reverse-engineering the app, scraping it or attempting to break its security is not allowed.
- Write reviews only from your own genuine experience.
11. Store and delivery partners
Store partners are bound by the Merchant Partner Terms & Conditions — compliance, product quality, fulfilment, handover, liability, settlement and more. Delivery partners are covered by a separate partner agreement. Commission rates and the payout cycle are set out in writing at onboarding — we do not print those numbers on this page or any marketing page. If you are interested, send an enquiry from the store partner or delivery partner page.
12. Brand and content
The sabCheej name, logo, the tagline “Har cheej, ghar pe.” and the app design are ours. Shop names, photos and menus belong to those shops. Do not use any of it commercially without permission.
13. The service is provided “as is”
We do our best to keep the service running, but we cannot guarantee that the app or website will work without interruption at all times — maintenance, the network, a gateway or a map service can all fail. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the order that was affected. Where the law does not permit an exclusion (for example harm caused by our own fault), we do not claim one.
14. Closing an account
You can delete your account from the app at any time. We may restrict or close an account in cases of fraud, breach of law, or mistreatment of a rider or shopkeeper — and wherever possible, we will say why.
15. Changes to these terms
A new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will be notified in the app or by SMS. Continuing to use the service after a change counts as accepting the new terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall within the jurisdiction of Indian courts. The full registered-office and jurisdiction details will be published on this page before launch.
